Privacy
The short version: your documents and your notes never leave your computer. This website counts its visits and which of its buttons are used, never what you open or write.
πAnnotate opens them inside your browser. They are never uploaded: there is no server that could receive them.
Kept in your browser’s own storage, on this computer, so that you can close the tab and continue later. Save downloads them as one small file to your computer.
Only what you paste into it. Copy for AI puts a text on your clipboard; where it goes next is your choice, under your AI’s own privacy policy.
It counts its visits with Google Analytics: the pages viewed, an approximate location, the kind of device and browser. It also counts which buttons are used: that a document was opened (a PDF, a Markdown file, a picture or a saved .json), that Copy for AI or Save was clicked, that the sample paper was tried. Only the name of the action is counted. Google sets cookies to do this. It never sees your documents, their names, your notes or your hearts.
If this page ever changes, the change will appear here, with its date.
